Summer 2009 U-15 Boys Info Try-outs: Sunday, February 1, 2009 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM @ Marion Diehl Turf Facility. If you are interested in the Feb. 1 try-out please email Mike Gambrill at mgambrill@carolina.rr.com U-15 Eligibility: Athletes born in 1994 and 1995 are eligible to participate on the U-15 Team. Typically the U-15 squad is 7th and 8th graders but 9th graders with a 1994 birth year may also play. And since most of the very good U-15 national competition teams are 9th graders we encourage eligible Charlotte 9th graders who will not make the Team Charlotte HS team to play South Charlotte Select U-15. 2009 Summer Highlights: Greensboro Lax Fest, June 6 & 7, 2009 Greensboro NC Summer Exposure, June 13 & 14, 2009 Annapolis, MD We will play in two more summer '09 events TBA Kindly note that we would like all team members to play in all the events, we have made exceptions for kids who are not able to attend some of the events; please discuss this directly with Coach Gambrill. Cost to Participate: The cost to participate in the Summer 2009 U-15 South Charlotte Select Program is $TBA per player. The fee includes: Custom reversible with the players name on the back, two pairs of custom game shorts, two pairs of team socks, custom vapor flex shirt, cotton team t-shirt; ten team practices, approximately twenty two lacrosse games, coaches salaries, coaches travel expenses, all tournament entry fees; Professional coaching at all practices and events; Practice facility use fees; Supplemental player insurance that covers the athlete when we practice, scrimmage or play in Charlotte The opportunity to play at regional and national tournaments against top notch competition; Administration and web site upkeep. Professional Travel Agent to assist you with all your travel needs. The fee does not include players travel to/from events, players meals, players lodging. It will be the parent's responsibility to provide transportation to/from events, players meals, and arranging for your families lodging accommodations. Questions?
