2008-09 Marks Polar Bear Lacrosse 7th Season!

Play outdoors on Sundays with your teammates, full field games, qualified officials, 9 game schedule, plus play-offs and a championship game in the Boys Varsity, Girls HS, and the Middle School Boys divisions.  Players are assigned to teams by the school they attend.

Athletes are placed in the division that best suits their age and playing ability. 

"Player Of The Week" prizes in every division.

Polar Bear Lacrosse League is open to boys in the 3rd through 12th grades and girls in the 6th through 12th grades. Eight divisions to ensure you are placed on a team that best suits your age and playing ability.

CUB DIVISION

Players must have at least one year of game experience to enroll in the Polar Bear League.  Players with little or no game experience will be placed in the CUB Division. The Polar Bear Cub “learn to play” Division is open to both boys and girls in the 3rd through 8th grades.

Please note: HS Girls Division will play their games at Queens U Marion Diehl while HS & MS boys from Cannon, North Meck, Hopewell, Mallard Creek & Lake Norman will play @ Mallard Creek HS.

REMINDERS

GAME LOCATIONS: Directions to all the game locations can be found on the schedule page by clicking on GAME FIELD DIRECTIONS. For specific directions from your location please use www.Mapquest.com.

EQUIPMENT: All the required equipment to play boys and girls lacrosse is necessary to participate in PBL. If you do not have all the required equipment the game officials will not allow you to participate. A complete list of equipment can be found under REQUIRED LACROSSE EQUIPMENT.

WATER: Water is not provided at the fields and every player is responsible for bringing enough water or Gatorades to hydrate during the games.

GAME JERSEY: All players will receive a Polar Bear Lacrosse game reversible from your coach at the first game. You must wear this reversible to all your games.

CANCELLATION & CHANGES: All cancellations and changes to the schedule (due to severe weather) will be posted on www.StickWithUs.org . Check the site 45 minutes before your scheduled start time (even if the weather is nice). Please get in the habit of checking the site before you depart for the field. Late changes may also be posted on the StickWithUs.org phone line at 704.525.0910.
