South Charlotte Cyclones Home Page
 
The South Charlotte Cyclones were formed for the more experienced middle school player. They play a very demanding schedule, up to 4 practices per per week, and games that includes travel outside of Charlotte during the spring and through June.
The Coaches. Each team in the middle school division has professional coaches that are dedicated to the improvement of the players individual and team skills.
Registration Fee. The cost to play for the Cyclones in 2010 is $575.00 per player. The registration fee includes field rental for team practices & games, game officials, coaches salary, use of a team helmet, team equipment bag & custom team gloves for the season, practice uniforms, game uniforms, supplemental player insurance, 12-14 games against the best middle school competition in the region.
The Game Schedule. The Cyclones will travel and play in a regional tournament in Charlottesville, VA, Chattanooga, TN & Atlanta GA. There will be an additional fee per player for events outside of Charlotte. We will play middle school teams in Charlotte that includes Country Day, Providence Day School, Weddington, North Mecklenburg, and Holy Trinity.
Player’s Commitment: In order to compete at this level we ask the players commitment 4 days a week to becoming a better lacrosse player. We ask that all players make their best effort to attend all scheduled practices and games.
Pre-Season Schedule: Practices are usually Sunday’s, Monday’s, Tuesday’s & Thursday’s.
In Season Schedule: Once the game schedule starts we will eliminate the Sunday practices and add Saturday games. Please note that there are rain make up days built into the schedule, BUT under normal circumstances we would not practice or play more than five days in one week.
