Copperhead Lacrosse
Camp
The 5th Annual Copperhead Lacrosse Camp will take place from Monday, June 30 through Thursday July 3 2008 at Jack Hughes Park in Pineville. The Park features a brand new lacrosse field as well as four additional all purpose fields and a new pavilion with bathrooms and picnic area making it the perfect spot for lacrosse camp this summer. Copperhead lacrosse camp is a all day camp starting at 8:30 AM and concluding at 3:30 PM each day. Before camp care is available starting at 7:00 AM and after camp care is available until 5:00 PM.

Open to: Boys & Girls rising 4th through rising 8th graders
The camp is appropriate for the beginning player as well as the experienced player.
Campers are placed in groups by their age and ability.
The Staff: Many of Charlotte's top coaches will be on hand including Tim Price, Ardrey Kell HS & Team Carolina; William Humphrey, Providence HS & Team Charlotte; MIke Gambrill, Myers Park HS & South Charlotte Select; Matt Wiehl, Butler HS & South Charlotte Select; Bobby Thompson, Providence Day School & South Charlotte Select.
The Goal: The goal of Copperhead Lacrosse Camp. is to teach the fundamentals of individual, group and team lacrosse skills in an environment that stresses the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Our Staff is comprised of several of the game's top coaches and players, that are eager to share their knowledge with the next generation of lacrosse enthusiasts. We offer a balanced, fun-filled experience for those trying to improve their game. .
Typical Day
8:30-9:00 AM Warm up and stick work
9:00-10:00 AM Individual Positron instruction
10:00-11:00 AM Group Position instruction
11:00-12:00 LUNCH
12:00-1:00 PM Small Group Scrimmages
1:00-1:15 Snack Time
1:15-3:00 Full Field Games & Camp Tournament
3:00-3:30 PM Review
Cost: $350 per player from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM for the four day camp. (Before Camp Care from 7:00 to 8:30 AM is an additional $50 per week and after camp care from 3:30 to 5:00 PM is an additional $50 per week).
Campers receive expert instruction from some of Charlotte's top coaches, a camp reversible, and daily prizes will be awarded each day.
While water is provided at the fields, campers will need to supply their own lunch & additional drinks to stay hydrated through the day (bottled water or Gatordes are reccomended) each day.
